On the occasion of the third day of Ramcharitmanas Navah Paath going on at the local RTS Club ground of district headquarters Robertsganj, the marriage ceremony of Shri Ram Janaki was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Manas Pandal.

With the Chaupai of Balakand of Ramcharitmanas composed by Goswami Tulsidas ji quoting the Mukharvind of Acharya Surya Lal Mishra, an atmosphere of joy prevailed among the devotees in Manas Pandal and the devotees present started singing congratulatory and wedding songs. To celebrate the wedding celebration of Shri Ram, makeup items were distributed among the women as Prasad and the tableau of Ram Vivah was decorated very elegantly.
Ram-Lakshman-Parshuram dialogue, Janakji sending messenger to King Dashrath, departure of the wedding procession from Ayodhya, arrival and welcome of the wedding procession in Janakpur etc., Sita Ram’s marriage, return to Ayodhya and joy in Ayodhya etc. were sung musically by Chief Vyas and Bhudev. Satyapal Jain as King Janak and his wife Rajni Jain as Sunaina after offering prayers to Shri Ram after the ritual of grace. Performed the ritual of Kanyadaan.
Ravi Jalan in the form of King Dashrath and his wife Meera Jalan were gracing the pavilion along with the wedding guests. A day before this, in the night sermon, famous storytellers Hemant Tripathi, Anil Pandey and Prakash Chandra Vidyarthi, while narrating the story of Ram’s birth, said that Narada Muni had cursed the Lord and due to that curse, the Lord was incarnated to kill Ravana. He also sang various types of Sohars and Bhajans. Due to which the devotees present were mesmerized. He said that the reason for the birth of Ram ji was the penance of Manu and Shatarupa.
On this occasion, committee MP Chhotalal Kharwar, Sadar MLA Bhupesh Choubey, President Satyapal Jain, General Secretary Sushil Pathak, Dr. Kusumakar Srivastava, Shishu Tripathi, Ravi Jalan, Inderdev Singh, Mithai Lal Soni, Krishna Murari Gupta, Mrityunjay Tiwari, Kishore Kedia, Pappu Shukla, Ravindra Pathak and others were present.
