Shubman Gill created turmoil in the history of Test cricket, entered Don Bradman’s club.

New Delhi: Indian Test team captain Shubman Gill has achieved a big achievement. After scoring a brilliant century in the Mullanpur Test against Afghanistan, Gill completed 1000 runs as a captain in Test cricket. The special thing was that he achieved this figure with an excellent average of 82.8 and with this he joined the special club of the great batsman Don Bradman.

Shubman Gill played a strong inning of 126 runs in the only test match being played in Mullanpur. In this innings, he hit 15 fours and one long six. Gill’s batting put the Indian team in a strong position.

This inning of his was also special because during this time he completed 1000 runs in Test cricket as captain. Now he has become one of the few captains in the world whose batting average is above 75 after scoring more than 1000 runs.

Australia’s great batsman Don Bradman is at first place in the list of those who have scored 1000 runs with the highest average in Test cricket as a captain. His average was 101.5. Whereas Shubman Gill has reached second position with an average of 82.8. Veteran players like Sri Lanka’s Kumar Sangakkara, Australia’s Steve Smith and Mahela Jayawardene are also included in this list, but their average is less than 70.
