The 15-member Indian team for the T20 World Cup 2026 has been announced on Saturday at the headquarters of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The Indian team will enter the World Cup under the captaincy of Suryakumar Yadav. Many shocking decisions have been taken in the BCCI meeting. While there has been a surprise entry of wicketkeeper batsman Ishan Kishan, who was out of the team for a long time, Shubman Gill has been dropped. Ishan Kishan and Rinku Singh got place in the Indian team for T20 World Cup 2026.
BCCI Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar announced the team for the T20 World Cup in Mumbai through a press conference. Wicketkeeper batsman Ishan Kishan and middle order batsman Rinku Singh are also included in the 15-member team. Ishaan has returned to the Indian team after almost 2 years.

Shubman Gill out of Team India for T20 World Cup 2026
Shubman Gill was flopping in cricket for a long time. Although there were reports in the media that perhaps Shubman Gill might be included in the tournament but it did not happen. Shubman Gill’s name is not included in the team that India has selected for the T20 World Cup. Indian team announced for T20 series against New Zealand
