This time, Team India’s star batsman Shubhman Gill has been selected as the Men’s International Cricketer of the Year, while Smriti Mandhana will receive the Best Women’s Cricketer of the Year award. Interestingly, this time in the list of BCCI’s Naman Award, Team India’s veteran players Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah have not received any individual award.

Team India’s Test and ODI captain Shubman Gill has been considered the most reliable batsman of the team for some time. He scored consecutive runs for India in all three formats and led the team to important victories in many matches. Gill had scored 983 runs in 9 test matches played last year. He was the highest run scorer last year. During this period, he had scored 754 runs in the 5-match Test series played against England. Apart from this, he had scored 490 runs in 11 ODI matches. Due to this excellent performance, he is being given the honor of Men’s International Cricketer of the Year.

Dravid will get lifetime achievement award

According to reports, BCCI will honor former Indian cricket team coach Rahul Dravid with the ‘Colonel CK Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award. At the same time, the legendary former captain of the Indian women’s cricket team, Mithali Raj will also be honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
