A meeting was held in the BCCI office located in Mumbai regarding the selection of Team India. Just before this, Shubman Gill was told that he was not being selected for the T20 World Cup.

He was informed just before the meeting on 20th December, which is absolutely surprising. BCCI official told TOI, ‘Shubhman Gill was informed before the meeting. Shubman Gill’s recent performance was disappointing

Shubman Gill’s performance in T20 International has proved to be very disappointing.
