Sierra petrol engine launched in Tata Harrier and Safari, know every detail from new features

Tata Harrier and Safari Petrol Engine variants: Tata Motors, playing a big bet in the SUV segment, has now launched its flagship SUVs Tata Harrier and Tata Safari with petrol engines. Till now both these vehicles were available only in diesel engine, but with the introduction of petrol option, more customers will be attracted towards them. The special thing is that a new turbo petrol engine taken from Sierra has been installed in it.

Petrol vs Diesel: How much power, how much power?

Tata is now offering two engine options in both the SUVs.

1.5 liter turbo petrol engine – 170 PS power and 280 Nm torque
2.0 liter diesel engine – 170 PS power and 350 Nm torque

with both engines 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox see you. However, those expecting AWD (all-wheel drive) will be disappointed as both the SUVs are still Front-wheel Drive Are only.

Harrier variants and engine limitations

Petrol engine: Manual in all variants, but not automatic in base Smart
Diesel engine: Not available in top Fearless Ultra variant

That means if you want a fully-loaded variant then diesel option will not be available.

Tata Safari 6 variants Available in. Petrol engine is available in almost all variants, but Smart variant only manual Comes in.
Diesel engine top here too Accomplished Ultra It is not provided in the variants, which may become a cause of disappointment for many customers.

New features and colors increased the shine

Along with the petrol engine, Tata has also updated the features tremendously. Now both are available in SUVs:

14.5-inch QLED touchscreen
Level-2 ADAS Safety System
10-speaker JBL sound system (with Dolby Atmos)
Digital inside rear-view mirror

Additionally, new in Harrier Nitro Crimson Color has come and Red Dark Edition It has made a spectacular comeback with a stunning combo of black exterior and red accents.
