NEW DELHI: For Aamir Bhutia, the Vijay Hazare Trophy outing at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium was a rare and special moment in his domestic career. Representing Sikkim against Mumbai, Bhutia found himself sharing the field with Rohit Sharma, a cricketer he had admired for years from a distance.
Rohit Sharma’s innings was a masterclass. Chasing a modest target of 237, he wasted no time in taking control, scoring a brilliant 155 off 93 balls, including 18 fours and nine sixes.
