Silver Gold Price Today : Gold and silver prices declined during early trade on Monday, April 6. MCX gold price fell by ₹ 1,400 or about 1% in early trade to ₹ 1,48,298 per 10 grams.

Meanwhile, soon after the start of trading on MCX, silver price fell by more than Rs 2,800, or more than 1%, to Rs 2,29,651 per kg today.

Profit booking in gold and silver is taking place amid strengthening of the US Dollar, as crude oil prices remain high due to the US-Iran war, increasing inflation concerns. Furthermore, strong US employment data has reduced the likelihood of interest rate cuts by the Federal Reserve, leading to a decline in gold and silver prices.
