Yogi government has opened a box of happiness for Shiksha Mitras who are struggling for their demands. The government has taken a historic decision to increase their salaries significantly, which will directly provide financial benefits to about 1.43 lakh families of the state.

Big announcement will be made in Gorakhpur on 5th May

To seal this good news, a grand program is being organized in Gorakhpur on 5th May. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself will formally launch this new initiative during a state level program at Baba Gambhirnath Auditorium. The special thing is that on the same day, parallel programs will be organized in all other districts of UP, so that Shikshamitras from the entire state can be a part of this celebration.

Now you will get ₹ 18,000 honorarium every month

After this decision of the government, now the tension of Shikshamitras posted in council primary schools has completely ended. Under the new system, now every month ₹18,000 Honorarium is being given. These increased rates are considered effective from April 1, 2026. Those who benefited from this decision include 13,597 Shiksha Mitras of the Basic Education Department and 1,29,332 Shiksha Mitras working under Samagra Shiksha.
