Simple Energy has announced the launch date of its first family electric scooter. The scooter will be launched on September 2, 2026 and is likely to be named ‘Simple Arrive’. The Bangalore-based company has developed this scooter under its in-house research and development programme. The company says that this e-scooter has been designed to be very practical and equipped with modern technology for everyday commuting.

Design and features

The scooter was first spotted on the road during testing in March 2026, giving the first glimpse of its design:

Attractive design: Compared to ‘Simple One’, the design of ‘Simple Arrive’ is kept more traditional and simple.

Lighting and Body: The front apron features LED headlamps and a small visor, while the rear gets a slim LED tail lamp.

Comfortable Ride: For everyday use, it features a long single-piece seat and a flat floorboard, making it easy to store luggage.

Hardware: The prototype model gets 12-inch alloy wheels, twin rear shock absorbers, and a combination of disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear.

Storage and Display: The space under the seat may be large enough to accommodate two half-face helmets. Apart from this, it is likely to get a TFT instrument display and a small storage compartment at the front.

The company has not yet given official information about the technical details or the price of this scooter.

• Battery Options: According to reports, it could use the 3.7 kWh battery pack from the ‘OneS’ model or offer a smaller battery option.
• Range: The scooter is expected to offer a real-world range of over 100 km on a single charge.
• Pricing and Positioning: The price of ‘Simple One’ currently in the market is ₹1.84 lakh. The new ‘Arrive’ will be introduced in its lower segment, i.e. at a more affordable price point for consumers.
