Singapore Airlines has been ranked third in the 2026 World’s Best Full-Service Airlines list by AirlineRatings.com, the world’s only airline safety and product rating website.
Singapore’s national flag carrier trails Qatar Airways, which took first place, and Cathay Pacific, which came in second.
Scoot, the low-cost subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, came in fifth in the World’s Best Low Cost Carriers ranking for 2026, behind competitors HK Express, Jetstar, AirAsia and AirBaltic.
In 2025, Singapore Airline was ranked No. 5 and Scoot at 8th position in their respective categories.
AirlineRatings.com has been releasing its World’s Best Airlines ranking annually since 2014, and assessed around 370 airlines for its 2026 list.
Unlike AirlineRatings.com’s annual safest airlines rankings released in January 2026 and focused solely on safety, its best airlines lists evaluate carriers on passenger-centered factors such as comfort, in-flight options, consistency of service, and overall value across their route networks.
Etihad Airways was ranked the world’s safest full-service airline for 2026 by AirlineRatings. Budget airline HK Express was named the world’s safest low-cost airline in the same ranking.
