Singapore’s Changi Airport, home to the world’s largest indoor waterfall, has been voted the best international airport by Forbes Travel Guide in its inaugural Luxury Air Travel Awards.

Air travel experts surveyed the globe to compile a list of nominees, with winners selected through an exclusive survey of 5,000 industry insiders, including luxury travel advisors and frequent fliers. Forbes Travel Guide experts then validated the results.

With over one million square meters spanning four terminals, equivalent to 156 football fields, Changi Airport is renowned for its state-of-the-art amenities, including duty-free shopping and luxury accommodations.

Beyond its modern facilities, Changi offers automated check-ins and biometric authentication for swift immigration procedures.

Recently, Changi became one of the world’s first airports to introduce passport-free immigration clearance across all terminals, allowing travelers to clear immigration in as little as 10 seconds. This large-scale biometric system further enhances the airport’s reputation for efficiency.
