Singapore sees $30 all-you-can-eat Musang King durian buffet for year-end holiday

A durian seller in Singapore is marking Christmas and New Year’s Day with an all-you-can-eat Musang King durian buffet priced at S$38.8 (US$30.2) per person.

The buffet, hosted by Lexus Durian King, offers one hour of unlimited Musang King durians sourced from Malaysia’s Pahang state, as reported by AsiaOne.

It runs until Jan. 4, 2026, with four sessions per day: from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., and 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Reservations are required.

The store also sells the fruit whole at S$5 each or S$8 per kilogram.

Durian is beloved by Singaporeans, with Musang King or Mao Shan Wang being their favorite, according to Channel News Asia.

Singapore sources about 85% of its durians from Malaysia and brings in roughly 100,000 kilograms a day during the peak season, per Bloomberg.

Durian buffets also tend to be more common during this time. Resorts World Sentosa, for instance, offered one in July priced at S$268 per person.
