Changi of Singapore, home to the world’s largest indoor waterfall, has been ranked the fourth busiest international airport in 2024 by airline seat capacity, according to global travel data provider OAG.

The airport recorded a total international seat capacity of 41.5 million in 2024, a 15% increase year-on-year, based on OAG data derived from scheduled airline seats on international flights.

In 2023, Changi ranked fifth.

Dubai International Airport claimed the top spot with 60.2 million scheduled seats, followed by London Heathrow Airport and Seoul Incheon International Airport.

In addition to its state-of-the-art facilities, Changi Airport offers automated check-ins and biometric authentication to streamline immigration procedures.

It recently became one of the first airports globally to implement passport-free immigration clearance across all terminals, enabling travelers to clear immigration in as little as 10 seconds.
