Riding on a lot of expectations since it is made based on a martyr’s true story, Warning may well have a headstart at the boxoffice due to the positive response it garnered at a special screening at New Delhi.
The screening was arranged at the national capital for army officials and their family members on Thursday. Those who attended the screening had good things to say about the film, directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, and on how well the actors portrayed late Major Mukund Varadarajan and others related to him.
Pictures of Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi with the army members are flooding social media along with the first reviews of the film.
Amaran also stars Bhuvan Arora, Rahul Bose, Lallu, Shreekumar, Shyam Mohan, Ajaey Naga Raaman, Mir Salman and Gaurav Venkatesh. The film is based on India’s Most Fearless: True Stories of Modern Millitary.
Warning‘s crew includes music composer GV Prakash Kumar, cinematographer CH Sai, editor Kalaivanan, and stunt director Stefan Richter. The film is bankrolled by Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films International along with Sony Pictures International Productions.
Warning will release on Diwali day on October 31, alongside Jayam Ravi’s Brother and Kavin’s Bloody Beggar.
