Skoda Kushaq Facelift Owner Explains Why He Bought It Over Kylaq [Video]
The Czech carmaker Skoda recently launched the Kushaq facelift in India, and it has received a warm welcome by Skoda lovers. This time around, the Skoda Kushaq facelift, along with many of its rivals in the mid-size SUV segment, is also taking on its own sibling, the Kylaq sub-compact SUV. Now, if you are also confused between the two, then recently an owner of the new Kushaq has shared why he bought a Kushaq facelift over the Kylaq.
This ownership review of the new Skoda Kushaq facelift by the owner has been shared on YouTube. It comes courtesy of I Am Deepak on their channel, and in the video, he gives a walkaround of his newly bought Kushaq facelift. It starts off with the owner mentioning that he recently bought this SUV and talks about the variant chosen by him.
In the video, the owner mentions that he has chosen the Signature variant of the new Kushaq facelift. He explains that previously there were Signature and Signature+ trims available. However, this time around, they have been merged, and now there is only the option to buy the Signature variant. The owner highlights that this particular variant gets the necessary features.
The owner states that if anyone does not need the 1.5-litre TSI motor, which makes 150 PS and 250 Nm of torque, then the Signature variant can be considered as the second top-of-the-line variant. He added that buyers can opt for the Prestige and Monte Carlo variants if they require the extra power and added features such as a panoramic sunroof and others.
Following this, he starts showing the exterior design of this SUV and states that, from the outside, this vehicle, finished in the shade of Deep Black, looks very premium. He adds that the new facelifted model now gets sleeker LED headlights, and the Signature variant also gets the connected LED DRLs on the front on the gloss black grille, which add to the premium appearance.

Moving to the side, he highlights that the vehicle gets a set of 17-inch silver-colored alloy wheels, which look very beautiful. As for the rear, he shows the new, sharper-looking LED taillights, which also come equipped with a connecting light bar in the middle and illuminated Skoda lettering. Overall, he mentions that the design of the Kushaq facelift looks very classy and premium.
He then shows the interior of this SUV and mentions that it comes equipped with all the necessary convenience features. These include the bigger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 8-inch digital instrument gauge cluster, ambient lighting, single-pane electric sunroof, automatic climate control, cruise control, and many others.

The owner in the video also explained the reason behind him buying the Kushaq facelift instead of the Kylaq sub-compact SUV. He highlighted that the Kushaq facelift sits in the mid-size SUV segment, and it is much bigger than the Kylaq, which is a sub-compact SUV. Additionally, the owner also mentions that, according to him, if one has to drive more on highways, then they should opt for the Kushaq, as it is more stable and offers good performance. However, if someone has to drive more in the city, then they would like the smaller size of the Kylaq. Overall, he mentions that the Kushaq facelift is a very well-rounded SUV.
