Engine and performance
Talking about the engine, there has been no change in Skoda Kylaq, and this decision seems sensible. It gets the same 1.0-liter turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine, which generates 115 PS power and 178 Nm of torque.

The engine is available with a six-speed manual transmission and a six-speed torque converter automatic. Interestingly, while the facelifted Kushaq features a new eight-speed automatic gearbox, the Kylaq still retains the old but reliable six-speed AT.

Price
Talking about the price, the initial price of Skoda Kylaq has gone up to Rs 7.59 lakh (X-showroom), which makes it look more affordable than before. The five-seater Kylaq descends into India’s most congested sub-four-meter SUV segment, where it competes with trains such as Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, Tata Punch and Hyundai Exter.
The design is not just enough to last in this segment, but features and values also matter, and with new trims Kylaq makes a strong move in this direction.
