Booking will start from this day

Considering the strong competition in the compact SUV segment in the Indian market, the company has fixed its starting price at Rs 7.89 lakh. trying to attract customers

On this occasion, Zelmer said that through 'Kylak', Skoda wants to capture the huge market of India which is not yet within its reach. Gelmer has said that the company is now moving into the Indian market under a new strategy. We are trying to attract new types of customers. We hope that on this basis we will achieve the target of 1 lakh annual sales by the year 2026.

limited business

The SUV segment is growing very fast in the Indian market and since Skoda did not have any vehicle in the compact SUV segment till now, it had to do business only in a limited area, but through 'Kylak' it is now filling this gap. Hoping to make up for it. However, the challenge before 'Kylak' is to give tough competition to Maruti Suzuki's Brezza, Hyundai's Venue, Tata Motors' Nexon and Kia's Sonet models.

These vehicles are present in the SUV segment

Petra Janneba, brand director, Skoda India, said the company plans to increase its network from 260 to 350 by next year to expand its presence across the country. Skoda has the highest safety rated SUV model in the Indian market in the form of Kushaq. Apart from this, the company has vehicles like Slavia and Superb in the sedan segment and Kodiak in the SUV segment.
