Slow pace of wheat procurement in Chatra and Nagwan, instructions given to concerned

On the instructions of Assistant Commissioner and Assistant Registrar Sonbhadra Devendra Kumar Singh, ADCO Robertsganj inspected the wheat purchasing centers of Chatra and Nagwan. Three hundred quintals were purchased from two farmers at Koriyaan BPAX. On the spot, about two hundred and fifty quintals of wheat of Guroti resident Anand Prakash Singh were being weighed. One hundred forty quintals were purchased from Shivpur BPAX, 250 quintals from Ramgarh BPAX and 750 quintals were purchased from Sodha BPAX. In the same sequence, 50 quintals were purchased from a farmer in Amdih and Vaini and Due to lack of sacks in Khaliyari, procurement has not started.
ADCO Sadar directed to get the empty sacks from the Kotedars and start the purchase after getting them countersigned by the marketing inspector. Similarly, on Khaliyari Committee, farmers like Raju, Vijay Patel, Sunil Patel etc. complained to the ADCO that the supply drinking water connection established near the committee has been disconnected by the operator Arvind Kumar, due to which the farmers coming to sell wheat face problems.
ADCO Sadar talked to operator Arvind on telephone, on which the operator expressed his inability in this matter. The ADCO asked the center in-charge to give an application in this regard to the concerned officers. During the inspection, employees like Secretary Saurabh Singh, Amit Gautam, Amit Singh, Kaushal Singh, Jokhu, Antima Bharti, Vijay Shankar, Yudhishthir etc. were present.
