Slow sales of TATA’s electric cars, heavy sales of cars from these brands

Tata Motors has long been the market leader in the electric vehicle segment with its largest portfolio. However, Tata Motors saw a decline in sales last September. This month has not been special for the company and has seen its sales struggle. Despite this, Tata Motors still maintains a strong position in the market with high volume sales.

Recent market performance of other major brands

Globally renowned Chinese car manufacturer BYD and French car company Citroen also reported a huge increase in their sales this month. BYD sold 163 cars in September. While Citroen recorded sales of 386 units, which is much higher than last year. Mahindra and MG Motors have also improved their sales. Due to which the market position of these companies has strengthened.

Electric car sales figures by various brands show that there are many rivals in the electric vehicle race in the Indian market. While leading companies like Tata Motors may be seeing a decline in sales, other brands are strengthening their grip on the market.
