A solid knock from Rovman Powell and Cameron Green has set Kolkata Knight Riders to post 181 runs against Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL 2026 game at Eden Gardens.
A solid knock from the duo stabilises the side to post a decent total at scoreboard. After being invited to bat first, Ajinkya Rahane and Finn Allen opened the attack while Mohammed Shami opened the bowling attack.
Prince Yadav brought the first breakthrough, dismissing Finn Allen for 9 runs. However, a partnership from Ajinkya Rahane and Angkrish Raghuvanshi powers KKR to 56 in the powerplay.
The 86-run partnership came to an end when Digvesh Rathi dismissed KKR captain Ajinkya Rahane for 41 runs. He got dismissed on mid wicket where Shami picked the catch.
Angkrish Raghuvanshi got dismissed for 45 runs by Manimaran Siddharth. Aiden Markram, who was at long, caught the ball at ease, sending the batter to the dugout.

With Cameron Green struggled to score runs, Avesh Khan bowled out Rinku Singh for 4 runs. With LSG bowlers reduced run rate, Rovman Powell started hitting fours and sixes.
In the meantime, Cameron Green got in touch hitting along with Powell. By the end of 20 overs, Kolkata Knight Riders went on to score 181 runs. Rovman Powell remained unbeaten with 39* while Cameron Green scored 32* runs.
Avesh Khan, Digvesh Rathi, Manimaran Siddharth and Prince Yadav picked one wicket each.
