Smriti Mandhana created history in women's ODI cricket, broke the big record of South African legend
Delhi: In the three-match ODI series between India and West Indies, the Indian team performed brilliantly in the first match. Batting first, Team India scored 314 runs, in which Smriti Mandhana played an important inning of 91 runs. In her innings, Mandhana made a partnership of 110 runs with Pratika Rawat for the first wicket and 50 runs with Harleen Deol for the second wicket. Although, she missed the century, but she made a big world record in this match.

Smriti Mandhana has become the batsman who has scored the most runs in a calendar year in women's international cricket. In the year 2024, he has scored a total of 1602 runs. Earlier this record was in the name of Laura Wolvaardt of South Africa, who had scored 1593 runs in the same year.
