Smriti Mandhana did not reach Kapil Sharma show after marriage cancellation, fans surprised

New Delhi: Indian women’s cricket team’s star batsman Smriti Mandhana will not be seen in the upcoming episode of Kapil Sharma’s popular show The Great Indian Kapil Show, due to which her fans are surprised and disappointed. The show has been called to celebrate the Indian women’s cricket team’s World Cup victory, but Smriti’s absence has raised questions among the audience.

Earlier, Smriti had announced the cancellation of her marriage with Palash Muchhal, due to which she decided not to participate in the show. Earlier, fans had also expressed concern over her absence in Kabina show and other programs.

Team India’s celebration in Kapil Sharma show

The promo of the new episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show has been released, in which the Indian women’s cricket team has been invited as a guest. This year’s hot team includes captain Harmanpreet Kaur, Richa Ghosh, Jemimah Rodrigues, Shefali Verma, Deepti Sharma, Renuka Singh, Harleen Deol, Radha Yadav and Pratika Rawal. Head coach Amol Majumdar will also be seen along with the team in the show.

In the promo, Kapil Sharma was seen having fun with the team, and asked Harmanpreet why she did Bhangra before lifting the trophy. Jemima laughingly told that all this happened at the behest of Smriti Mandhana."Smriti had said that if I don’t do Bhangra, I won’t talk for the rest of my life."Jemima’s funny answer was also heard in the promo.

The main reason for Smriti Mandhana’s absence in the show is the recent complications in her personal life. Smriti and musician Palash Muchhal’s wedding, which was to take place on November 23 in Sangli, Maharashtra, was canceled at the last minute. After this decision, both of them themselves confirmed it by posting on social media and appealed to respect the privacy of both the families.

After the marriage was cancelled, Smriti focused on the cricket field and returned to her sport. She clarified that her first love is cricket and she wants to maintain her focus on it.
