Smuggling attempt at IGI Airport, 4 iPhone 16 Pro devices also recovered – News

Two passengers have been arrested for gold smuggling at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport. Officials have informed that the accused had come from Turkmenistan to Delhi on a Turkmenistan Airlines flight.

Officials have informed that these two accused who were exiting have been caught. During X-ray, some suspicious substance was seen in the bag of the accused, after which investigation was started.

Later, when the accused were investigated, yellow metal jewelry was recovered from them which looked like gold. The weight of the metal was 538 grams and 4 iPhone 16 Pro devices have also been recovered from the accused. The accused had very cleverly hidden the iPhone in tissue paper.
