Do you also sneeze frequently? Do not make the mistake of mistaking it for cold, know the causes and prevention.

Causes of Frequent Sneezing: Sneezing seems to be a common thing in the winter season, but if this trend continues again and again, it can be a danger signal for health. According to experts, frequent sneezing may not be the result of cold but allergy and infection which can take the form of sinus over time.

Often people ignore frequent sneezing as the effect of changing weather. But according to health experts, sneezing is directly related to our body’s immune system and external stimuli. When the membrane inside the nose comes in contact with external dust, smoke or cold air, the body resorts to sneezing to expel it.

cause of infection

In winter the air becomes dry and the nose loses its moisture. This causes difficulty in breathing and further causes infection. Apart from this, pollution present in the air also causes infections in the lungs and nose. Many home remedies are available in Ayurveda to avoid frequent sneezing, but before that let us know in detail about its causes and symptoms.

Symptoms of frequent sneezing

Due to cold air hitting the nose directly, there is irritation in the inner part of the nose. Watering starts flowing from the eyes and nose. As soon as the smoke comes in contact, there is itching in the nose and burning sensation in the eyes. Sneezing suddenly increases at night and phlegm starts accumulating in the chest and there is difficulty in breathing. When the condition gets worse, one cannot even sleep.
