How will the weather be today?
The Meteorological Department says that even today there may be dense fog in the plains, especially in Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar, for which a yellow alert has also been issued. Due to fog, there is a need to be a little careful while driving on the roads because visibility is becoming difficult at many places.
At the same time, there is a possibility of light rain in hilly districts like Chamoli, Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag and Pithoragarh and snowfall in high altitude areas. Due to this the cold may increase further.
Weather took a turn in Dehradun
The people of the capital Dehradun got some respite from the severe cold and fog of the last few days. There was good sunshine during the day on Sunday, due to which people heaved a sigh of relief. However, the cold in the morning and evening is still the same. Even today the sky is expected to remain clear and sunny in Dehradun. The highest temperature here today can be around 23 degrees and the lowest can be around 9 degrees.
How long will the weather remain like this?
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather may change once again in the coming two-three days. After December 27, the possibility of rain will increase, which will further increase the cold. So, take care of yourself, wear warm clothes and go out of the house in the morning and evening only when absolutely necessary.
