Snowfall on mountains, rain alert in 8 states; Know the weather of Delhi – Read

The weather patterns across the country seem to be changing these days. At some places it is raining and snowfall and at some places the sun is shining. Light rain was recorded in different areas in the national capital Delhi on Wednesday, but according to the Meteorological Department, there is no possibility of rain here for the coming seven days. The sky will be clear and the day will be sunny. The minimum temperature of Delhi on Thursday is expected to be 13 degrees Celsius and maximum 27 degrees Celsius.

On February 19, there is a possibility of rain and snowfall in some parts of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. There was heavy snowfall in the mountains in these states on 18 February also. Mountains were seen wrapped in snow sheets. On February 19, rain is expected at isolated places in Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and East Rajasthan. Light to moderate rain may also occur in Andaman and Nicobar Islands on February 19.

Rain alert in these states

There is a possibility of rain and strong winds in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Kerala during 20 to 22 February. There is also a possibility of hailstorm in some areas. Talking about the temperature trend, the minimum temperature in North-West India may fall by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius in the next 48 hours, after which no significant change is expected for five days. The minimum temperature in eastern India will remain stable for the next two days and after that it may increase by 2 to 3 degrees.

Temperature will increase in Maharashtra and Gujarat

In Maharashtra and Gujarat also the minimum temperature is expected to increase gradually by 23 degrees. The minimum temperatures in other parts of the country are likely to remain around normal. There may be a drop of 2 to 4 degrees in the plains of north-west India during the next 24 hours. After this, a gradual increase will be recorded again in two days.

How is the weather of Rajasthan?

On the other hand, the weather in Rajasthan has taken a turn due to the influence of a new western disturbance. In the last 24 hours, light to moderate rain was recorded in many areas including the capital Jaipur. Maximum rainfall of 27 mm was recorded in Naraina (Jaipur). During this period the minimum temperature in Sirohi was 11.7 degrees Celsius. According to the weather centre, the maximum impact of western disturbance will be seen in Bikaner, Ajmer, Jaipur, Bharatpur, Kota division and Shekhawati region.
