Mumbai Soon after being criticized for violating traffic rules, actor Sohail Khan has apologized for riding a bike without a helmet. Recently, a video of Sohail Khan went viral on social media, in which the actor was seen riding his bike without a helmet in Mumbai. The issue quickly escalated as many people described Sohail as careless and irresponsible towards road safety rules and traffic rules. After the increasing protest, Sohail took to his Instagram and told that he avoids wearing helmet due to claustrophobia.

Actor Sohail Khan said that I request all bike riders to please wear helmets. I sometimes avoid wearing a helmet because I feel claustrophobic, but that’s no excuse for not wearing a helmet. Riding has been my passion since childhood. It started with cycling and now I ride a bike. I mostly ride late at night when there is not much traffic so that the risk is less, that too at a slow speed and my car follows me. I assure fellow riders that I will try my best to overcome my claustrophobia and wear a helmet, so please bear with me. My heartfelt apology to the traffic officers and I assure them that from now on I will follow all the rules.
