Salman KhanSalim Khan’s father was admitted to the hospital on February 17 due to sudden deterioration in his health. Salim Khan He is undergoing treatment at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. Initially he was put on ventilator and the next day he underwent a minor surgery. Doctors have said that his condition is now stable and he is recovering slowly. Hence, considering his father’s condition, Salman has taken a special decision, which any good son would take for his father.
Salman’s father Salim Khan has not fully recovered and is still under observation in the hospital. Due to his father’s deteriorating health, Salman has decided to complete the shooting of his new film, “Battle of Galwan”, at Mehboob Studios in Film City (Bandra), so that he can meet his father from time to time. Mehboob Studio is very close to the hospital, so Salman can easily visit his father during the shoot.
Salman is currently shooting a major song for “Battle of Galwan”, which will wrap up soon. Many people are involved in the shooting, so Salman did not want to stop work, but his father’s care is also important. Therefore, switching studios has allowed both projects to be managed. Salman is in constant touch with doctors and family.

The movie “Battle of Galwan” is based on the June 2020 Battle of Galwan Valley. Salman Param Vir Chakra winner Colonel B. Santosh plays the role of Babu, who led the Indian soldiers at that time. This movie is directed by Apoorva Lakhia. It was originally scheduled to release on April 17, 2026, but now there are reports that it may be pushed to August 2026. The makers of the film are yet to issue an official statement on the matter. If the film releases in August, it may clash with Sunny Deol’s “Lahore 1947” (August 13, 2026) at the box office.
