Something was found in the truck which shocked the police, goods worth crores recovered
MP News: Mandsaur Police has dealt a severe blow to the illegal drug trade and seized 29 quintals of doda-chura and a truck. The value of the seized drugs is estimated at Rs 1.42 crore. Truck driver Mohammed Shamim, a resident of Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh, has been arrested. This entire action was taken on the basis of secret information by the police at Naka number 10.
‘Sanam’ truck and hidden poison
Police had received information that a truck passing through Rajasthan was carrying drugs from Pratapgarh towards Javra. After the information, the police started checking. After some time, a truck was seen arriving at the block, with ‘Sanam’ written on the front. Police stopped the truck and interrogated the driver and during the search, 29 quintals of doda-sawdust were recovered in plastic bags in the truck.
Many questions after arrest
Police arrested Mohammad Shamim (38), from whom two smartphones were also recovered. Now the suspense remains as to who is the real owner of such a huge drug cache and in which states it was to be supplied. Police have registered a case under NDPC Act. SP Abhishek Anand says that the interrogation of the accused is going on. The police hope that this will reveal the entire drug network and other smugglers involved will also be arrested. At present, this action has created a stir among the illegal drug dealers. .
