Somy Ali calls Salim Khan ‘father figure’, remembers staying with Khan family at their home
Salim Khan’s sudden hospitalisation has left the whole nation in a state of worry. Salman Khan’s father and veteran screenwriter was rushed to the hospital owing to a health emergency. As per reports, he has now been put on ventilator support and his condition is said to be stable. The whole Khan family reached the hospital to be there with their father.
Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Shura Khan, Arpita Khan Sharma, and Alvira Agnihotri were seen coming in and out of the hospital. Sanjay Dutt was also seen paying a visit to his longtime friend, Salman Khan, to extend his support. Amid all this, Salman’s former girlfriend, Somy Ali, has penned a long note praising Salim Khan.

Somy’s post
Somy Ali called Salim Khan a “father figure” and said that her heart sank hearing the news of his hospitalization. “Hearing that Salim Khan has been hospitalized made my heart sink. To the world, he is a legendary writer who helped shape icons like Amitabh Bachchan and co-created masterpieces like Sholay. To me, he was a father figure,” she wrote.

Somy spoke about how she stayed at his home, was treated like his daughter and had deep conversations on faith and religion. “Living in his home, I was treated like a daughter, included at the table, engaged in deep conversations about faith, where all religions were respected and celebrated. He taught me that God is bigger than doctrine and that storytelling must always carry truth beneath the drama,” she wrote.
