Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor and industrialist Anand Ahuja have revealed the name of their second son while sharing the new happiness in their family with fans. In an emotional post shared on social media on Saturday night, both of them told that they have named their newborn son Rudralok Kapoor Ahuja. On this special occasion, he also posted some family photos, in which the first glimpse of his son was seen.

In her post, Sonam wrote that her son was born on the auspicious occasion of Ekadashi, which she considers a special blessing of God. He told that this is a very important moment spiritually for his family and they welcome their son Rudralok with love and gratitude.

Sonam also explained the meaning of her son’s name in detail. According to him, the word ‘Rudra’ is derived from the Vedas, which is considered a symbol of power, healing, transformation and life energy. He said that this name not only gives the message of strength but also of new beginning and positive change.
He also explained its deep connection with the name of his elder son Vayu. According to Sonam, Vayu symbolizes the breath of life and energy, while Rudra symbolizes power and transformation. Both names together create a beautiful expression of protection, balance and divine energy.
It is noteworthy that Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja got married in traditional Sikh customs in Mumbai in the year 2018. After this, they welcomed their first son Vayu in 2022 and now on 29 March 2026, their second son Rudralok Kapoor Ahuja was born.
