An exciting match was played on the tenth day of the 23rd Sonanchal Cup state level cricket competition held at the historic Gandhi Maidan in Obra. In this match between Banaras Poly Hospital Sonbhadra XI and Bhadohi, Sonbhadra’s team defeated Bhadohi by 5 wickets on the basis of its excellent performance. At the beginning of the match, Bhadohi won the toss and decided to bat first. He made the match one-sided by playing a quick inning of 68 runs (8 fours, 4 sixes) in just 33 balls. Arpit Giri remained unbeaten after scoring 16 runs. Sonbhadra achieved the target of victory by losing 5 wickets in just 13.5 overs. Shadab bowled well for Bhadohi and took 3 wickets, but he could not save the team from defeat.
