Sonbhadra (Windhamganj)/Uttar Pradesh
A sensational case of bullying and assault has come to light at a petrol pump in Kolihinduba under Vindhamganj police station of the district. Last night (10-02-26) at around 10:00 pm, some anti-social elements not only misbehaved with the employee Manoj Kumar on duty but also beat him to death after citing the rules. The applicant Manoj Kumar, who distributes petrol and diesel at the petrol pump, had finished his duty.

Then Vashishtha Yadav and Sujit Yadav alias ‘Bullu’, residents of village Kudwa, reached there along with their 7 unknown companions. The bullies went against the rules and pressurized another vehicle to fill diesel. When Manoj refused saying that his duty time (by 7.30 pm) was over, the accused became furious. The accused abused Manoj obscenely and attacked him with kicks and punches while threatening to kill him.
Manoj suffered serious injuries on his head and body in this attack. Ajay and other people present at the spot intervened and saved the life of the applicant. The entire incident has been captured in the CCTV camera installed at the petrol pump, which is the biggest evidence against the accused.
According to the information received, it is being told that the main accused Sujit Yadav alias Bullu is a habitual criminal. Several criminal cases are already pending against him in the court, including assault on DFO Renukoot, Harijan vs gold dispute and cases related to land mafia. However, the police is investigating the matter.
