Sonia Gandhi discharged from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, admitted on March 24 due to serious infection

New Delhi31 March. Congress leader Sonia Gandhi was discharged from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in the national capital on Tuesday after a week. Following treatment, his condition improved and he has been discharged for further care and observation at home.

Rajya Sabha member Sonia Gandhi was admitted to the hospital on March 24 due to a serious infection and fever. Sonia Gandhi has been admitted to the hospital earlier also due to ill health. His treatment and follow-up will now continue at home.

President of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Dr. Ajay Swaroop, while giving an update on the health of the Congress leader, said that Dr. D.S. Rana, Dr. S. Under the supervision of Nandi and Dr. Arup Basu, Sonia Gandhi was treated with antibiotics and the positive effect of the treatment was seen on her. According to hospital officials, Sonia Gandhi was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital with fever at 10.22 pm on March 24.

If seen, Sonia Gandhi has many types of diseases, due to which she has to be admitted to the hospital. In 2011, she had a successful operation for a latent cancer (possibly cervical) in the US. Even on June 15, 2025, he was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital due to stomach related problem. Apart from this, in September 2022, she went to America for a pending medical checkup. Apart from this, he has problems related to respiratory problems, chronic cough and lung infection.
