According to the information, there were 29 tourists in the boat. Due to sudden worsening of weather and strong winds, the cruise lost its balance and sank in water. Within a few minutes this walk turned into a horrifying scene. According to the people present at the spot, when this accident happened, there was screaming among the people and everyone was seen trying to save their lives.

10 people missing in Jabalpur cruise accident

After this accident, relief and rescue work was started immediately. The State Disaster Response Force team reached the spot and the rescue operation was carried out with search operations throughout the night. Till now 15 people have been taken out safely, who somehow saved their lives by swimming. Eight people have died, including two women. At the same time, about 10 people are still reported missing. In such a situation, the death toll may increase. Let us tell you that the injured have been admitted to Jabalpur Medical College, where their treatment is going on.

After this accident, actor Sone Sood expressed his displeasure through social media. He wrote, ‘Some time ago I had tweeted about the boat accident in Bihar and appealed to make life jackets mandatory for every passenger. Then the Vrindavan incident happened… and now in Madhya Pradesh, many more lives were lost in the same manner. How many more lives will be lost?

He further appealed to the government and said, ‘Now the time has come to make it mandatory. No boat should leave without passengers wearing life jackets. We also need a government portal where definitive proof of wearing a life jacket for every passenger journey is uploaded over time. Only strict accountability can save lives.
