Argentina Fan Club of Kolkata President Uttam Saha was also adding the name of current CAB President Sourav Ganguly to this event. Angered by this, Dada has now filed a defamation case of Rs 50 crore.

Sourav Ganguly filed defamation case

According to the report of Times of India, former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly has filed a defamation case of Rs 50 crore against Uttam Saha, President of Argentina Fan Club of Kolkata, in Lal Bazaar, Kolkata. Dada alleges that he is being deliberately implicated in Lionel Messi’s Kolkata event. Apart from this, Ganguly believes that Saha is damaging his image by making false, malicious and defamatory statements against him. Dada believes that Saha is making these allegations against him with a purpose in mind. Along with this, he has also made it clear that these allegations have no basis and they are being spread wrongly.

Sourav Ganguly was in the stadium on the day of the incident

Due to which he left the event early. Ganguly has also made it clear that he had no connection with this event. He had gone there only as a guest. Ganguly’s lawyers have made it clear regarding the case that the allegations made by Uttam Saha have damaged Dada’s image.
