Sourav Ganguly sued the president of Argentina fan club for Rs 50 crore

Kolkata: Chaos broke out at Kolkata’s Salt Lake Stadium during world famous football player Lionel Messi’s visit to India. Former Indian cricket captain and Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) president Sourav Ganguly was also present at the event.

Sourav Ganguly took a big step

After the event, Sourav Ganguly has taken strict action against Argentina Fan Club President Uttam Saha due to his controversial statements. Ganguly has filed a defamation claim of Rs 50 crore against Uttam Saha at the Crime Branch Office in Lal Bazar, Kolkata.

‘Personal image has been damaged’

Ganguly alleged that Uttam Saha has damaged his personal image and public reputation by repeatedly making false and inaccurate allegations against him. Ganguly says that all this was done deliberately. For this reason, apart from the legal notice, he has also filed a defamation case.

Ganguly had participated in the program as captain

Ganguly clarified that he was present at the Salt Lake Stadium only as a guest and had no connection with the organization of Lionel Messi’s event. After the registration of this case, now all eyes are on the upcoming hearing.

The fans created a ruckus

It is worth noting that Lionel Messi started his three-day India tour from Kolkata on December 13. A large number of fans had come to see him at the Salt Lake Stadium. However, the fans were angry when Messi left the stadium prematurely, due to which an atmosphere of chaos was created there. Many famous personalities also participated in this program.

What did Messi say?

Messi expressed his gratitude to everyone for the love and respect he received in India. He said that the love and affection received in India is special for him. Messi also said that he will always carry this love with him and hopes to visit India in the future, whether it is for a match or a trip.
