South Korea: Major fire breaks out in South Korea’s car parts manufacturing factory, 50 injured

South Korea : A major accident occurred at a car parts manufacturing factory in Daejeon city of South Korea when a massive fire broke out in the factory. At least 50 people were injured in this accident, out of which the condition of 35 is said to be critical. This information was given by local officials on Friday. According to reports, South Korean Prime Minister Kim Min-seok instructed the Home Ministry and the Fire Agency to immediately deploy all necessary resources and personnel for relief work. He asked to evacuate people safely and do the work of extinguishing the fire quickly.

The fire broke out at around 1:17 pm local time on Friday. Seeing the seriousness of the fire, the National Fire Agency issued an order to mobilize help from across the country. Such an order is given when it becomes difficult for the local administration to control the fire alone.

The Prime Minister also instructed the Daejeon Metropolitan Government and police to prevent any further damage by taking measures such as traffic control and evacuating people to safe places.

Earlier on March 14, a fire broke out in a seven-storey building in Sogong-dong, Jung-gu area of ​​Seoul, in which 10 people were injured.

Earlier on February 10, a fire broke out after an oil tank explosion in Gyeongsan, south-eastern area of ​​South Korea. The accident occurred at an external tank storage facility located about 250 kilometers southeast of Seoul.

The fire started after an explosion in the upper part of the oil storage tank. Later the fire had subsided to some extent, but smoke was seen rising from the spot. No casualties were reported by the end of the initial relief efforts.
