Yoon shared the story in a YouTube video uploaded on Feb. 12.

“When he goes to filming he has 3 a.m. and 5 a.m. calls, but I would get up at 2-3 a.m,” she said. “I even made things like ‘teddy bear rice.’ I stuck my eyes open.”

Yoon said her former ballet colleagues, who know her personality well, often say they cannot imagine her cooking at home in a traditionally demure manner, according to Chosun Biz.

“What reason would I have had to cook before I got married?” she said. “I was doing ballet, and my mother did everything.”

She added that she frequently sought her mother’s advice and searched for recipes online when she first began learning to cook. In response, Uhm “ate everything so deliciously” and praised her efforts.

According to Korea JoongAng DailyYoon, 46, married Uhm, 52, in 2013. The couple have one daughter.

Yoon is the daughter of veteran actor Yoon Il Bong and the niece of actor Yoo Dong Geun. Uhm is also from a celebrity family, as the younger brother of singer Uhm Jung Hwa.
