‘Political implications should not be drawn from our meeting’
Akhilesh Yadav said, ‘I had come to meet Shankaracharya to seek his blessings. It has been a tradition in our country that whenever any new work is started, first of all the blessings of the saints are taken. I also came to him with the same feeling. The blessings of saints are always auspicious for the society and country, it provides positive energy. Political implications should not be drawn from our meeting.

The SP chief also said that during the Samajwadi Party government, many decisions were taken regarding the service and protection of cows and the party will continue to work in this direction in future also. The first cow milk plant was established in Kannauj during the Samajwadi Party government. In future also, we will do whatever we can to serve the cows. Government should ensure availability of LPG
Holding the central and state governments responsible on the issue of LPG availability, Akhilesh said that due to wrong policies, people may again have to cook on wood stoves. The public is worried. It is noteworthy that Shankaracharya had concluded his 40-day cow consecration Dharmayudh Yatra in Lucknow on Wednesday. During this, he announced a religious war for cow protection and announced the creation of a new ‘Chaturangini’ system. It was also said that Sant Samaj along with sages and followers will go from village to village to make people aware. People will be told to support the one who stands for the protection of cows. This campaign will not be in support of any political party, rather people will be made aware on the basis of facts.
