SP chief Akhilesh Yadav’s promise: If government is formed in UP, women will get Rs 40 thousand annually
Financial Aid For UP Women: Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has made a series of big promises to the people of the state during a grand women felicitation ceremony organized in Lucknow. He clarified that if his party forms the government in Uttar Pradesh, revolutionary steps will be taken for the economic empowerment of women. On this occasion, Akhilesh strongly criticized the policies of the present BJP government and accused them of doing propaganda to defame the opposition. With this announcement, Samajwadi Party has made its agenda clear for the upcoming elections, due to which the political stir has intensified.
Big announcement for women
Akhilesh Yadav has made a historic promise of giving Rs 40 thousand annually to women during the Murti Devi-Malti Devi Mahila Samman ceremony in Lucknow on Sunday. He said that when the SP government comes, the old Samajwadi Pension Scheme will be restarted which was stopped midway by the present government. For the respect and self-reliance of women, the party has launched a special ‘Nari Samriddhi Samman Yojana’ Will be implemented through which direct economic benefits will be provided.
A sharp jibe at the film Dhurandhar
The recently released film ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ Amidst the brouhaha over the film, Akhilesh, without naming him, accused the BJP of getting the films made by paying money. He said that the real objective of these films is to defame other political parties and create wrong impression among the public, which people have now understood. The character named Atif Ahmed shown in the film is being described as a propaganda inspired by opposition leader Atiq Ahmed who works to spread hatred in the society.
Criticism of cabinet expansion
Taking a dig at the possible cabinet expansion of the Yogi government, the SP chief said that this is only an attempt to persuade those leaders who are currently angry with the government. According to him, when the budget of the departments is almost completely spent then there is no justification in appointing new ministers because now there is no fund left for development. Akhilesh claimed that the next real expansion and all-round development in Uttar Pradesh would be possible only after the SP government comes to power in 2027.
Question on Green Corridor
Akhilesh termed the Rs 7,000 crore green corridor being built in Lucknow as a ‘ruined corridor’. While giving this agreement, serious questions have been raised on its design and standard. He says that no space has been kept for pedestrians in the construction of this corridor which is against the standards of any modern road design. The SP chief said that a much better and useful corridor could have been built with a huge amount of Rs 7,000 crore but corruption spoiled it.

Speaking on the problem of gas cylinder, he said that in today’s time, getting a cylinder has become the fate of the common man, otherwise only long lines are found. Referring to an incident in Jhansi, he alleged that a BJP leader stole an entire truckload of cylinders and later returned half the empty cylinders. He also raised questions on the role of media and said that if channels start telling the truth, a big positive change can happen immediately in the country and the state.

deteriorating law and order situation
Attacking the law and order situation of the state, he said that the police administration has proved to be a complete failure in places like Gorakhpur, Badaun, Varanasi and Mathura. He alleged that at present only political work is being taken from the police and ‘if the palm is hot then the police is soft’ The game of corruption is going on on the principle of. Citing NCRB data, Akhilesh said that women and daughters are feeling most insecure in BJP ruled states, which is worrying.
Election and setting of officials
The SP chief alleged that planning and deployment of officials has already started for the upcoming elections in Uttar Pradesh so that the election results can be influenced. He claimed that BJP is making lists in collaboration with the Election Commission and suspicious posting of many officers is going to be done in different districts of the state in April. Akhilesh Yadav also said that BJP is scared of the united strength of PDA (Backward, Dalit and Minority) and that is why they are hatching conspiracies to loot the booth.
