SP MP Lalji Verma alleges that the way Samajwadi Party supporters are being harassed by the police in the assembly by-elections. They are being pressurized to abstain from voting by giving them red slips. Especially people of Muslim, Yadav and Kurmi castes are being threatened. It is dangerous for a healthy democracy.
