Ahmedabad, 8 June 2026: GCIA in the league match of SPCT U-12 Cricket Cup 2026 played at SPCT Cricket Ground. GSAB team performing brilliantly. The team has been defeated by 6 wickets. With the help of Man Patel’s sharp bowling and Meet Prajapati’s half-century, GCIA won. The team had easily won the match.
GSAB, which won the toss and decided to bat first, had a poor start. Opener Prince Makwana returned after being run out for zero. However, in the second innings, opener Aarav Shah played a brilliant innings of 83 runs with the help of 15 fours in 96 balls. Captain Karv Patel also batted aggressively and contributed 45 runs with 7 fours and 2 sixes in just 28 balls.
Apart from these two, no other batsman could stay on the crease and the entire team was all out after scoring 168 runs in 34.5 overs. G.C.I.A. Man Patel bowled lethally and took 4 wickets giving away 40 runs in 6.5 overs. While Shloka B. Patel took 3 wickets and Aditya Purswani took 2 wickets and disrupted the batting order of GSAB.
GCIA set out to chase the target of 169 runs. The team also had a bad start and Shlok Patel was out without opening the account. But then Meet Prajapati and Mihir Jadve took over. Meet Prajapati played a strong inning of 63 runs in 88 balls with the help of 10 fours and 1 six. Mihir Jadve also gave him good support and scored 36 runs.
In the end, captain and wicketkeeper Yuvansh Jain scored 26 runs and Naresh Patel scored 24 runs and achieved the target by losing 4 wickets in 36.3 overs. G.S.A.B. Dev Patel, Rohit Soni and Harvish Baranda got 1 wicket each but they could not lead their team to victory. Due to excellent all-round performance G.C.I.A. An important victory has been achieved in this tournament.
