Special feature of WhatsApp started available in Gmail, know how to use it
Desk. Gmail users are now getting strong privacy features like WhatsApp. Google has rolled out end-to-end encryption feature for select Gmail users. Gmail users on both Android and iOS platforms have started getting this privacy feature. In such a situation, Gmail users will not need any external software or extension to send e-mail. E-mail can be received securely from one user to another.
Google has announced the expansion of end-to-end encryption feature for Android and iOS devices through its official blog post. With the new update of Gmail, users will be able to access this privacy feature. You will get complete privacy while sending, receiving and reading e-mails. Google said that the rapid release of this update has been made live for both the devices. End-to-end encryption capabilities will be available in mobiles.
Google had earlier rolled out the E2E feature only for desktop users. Google has rolled out this feature for enterprise users of Work Space. Users who have an enterprise subscription will be able to use this feature.
Gmail users must first update their mobile app with the latest software. Users will be able to use this new privacy feature only after getting the new rapid update. For this the user will not need to follow any separate step. This end-to-end encryption feature will be available to Gmail users by default.
Actually, End-to-End Encryption is a kind of digital security lock system. This privacy feature depends on a kind of digital coding, in which only the receiver can read the message or e-mail sent by the user. No one other than the receiver will be able to access that e-mail. This e-mail will also be stored in Google’s data system with an encrypted code, so that no one can access it. In simple language, the message sent from one user to another will remain only between them, no one else can decode that message.
