Speed havoc in MP, 4 passengers killed, 21 injured as bus overturns
The havoc of speed has been seen in Khargone of Madhya Pradesh. Four people died in a road accident here, while many people were seriously injured. The entire incident took place on Saturday, where four people including three women and a child died tragically when a private bus skidded off the road and overturned. 21 people are said to be injured in this accident.
According to the news agency report, this accident happened near Jiratpura intersection on Khargone-Alirajpur road. According to the police, the bus was speeding and the driver lost control of the vehicle near Saigaon in the afternoon.
Four people died on the spot in the accident. Of the injured passengers, eight were sent to the district hospital in critical condition, while others have been admitted to nearby health centres. District SP Dharamraj Meena said that after the bus overturned, the help of JCB machine was taken for relief work. The bus was removed from there and traffic was restored.
The bus driver fled from the spot after the accident, however, the bus conductor has been taken into custody by the police and investigation into the matter is underway, the officer said. The administration has assured to provide proper medical care to the injured and all possible help to the families of the deceased.
