Spider-Man 4 Spot Reveals New Hulk, Scorpion & The Hand Fight Scenes
A new Spider-Man: Brand New Day TV spot reveals fresh footage of its villains. The upcoming film will see Spider-Man dealing with a genetic mutation and fighting classic Marvel villains.
The 40-second Spot TV reveals a female leader of The Hand, the MCU’s dubious ninja group. The leader asks someone off-screen, presumably Spider-Man, if they’re “ready” for what’s coming next. The Hand leader then charges into battle with her accomplices atop New York’s rooftops.
The footage then shifts focus to Peter, who is dealing with his mutating DNA in his apartment, which is covered in webs. One shot shows the Scorpion holding up a member of the DODC. A new shot of Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk atop a building is then shown.
The teaser ends with Peter coming to terms with his newfound organic webbing abilities, throwing a reference to Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man. Tom Holland’s Spider-Man says, “Organic webbing. Peter 2 had them. He was cool, you’re cool.” That’s not the only reference to No Way Home, as Spider-Man’s new suit pays homage to all previous Spider-Men.
The Hand was introduced in the MCU in Daredevil Season 2. The villainous group next appeared in The Defendersfollowed by a long absence, until Spider-Man 4. That’s not the only connection to Daredevil, as Jon Bernthal’s Punisher will also have a big presence in Spider-Man 4. The film is also rumored to feature a sensual scene between Peter and Yelena Belova. The film’s marketing has already broken several notable records. According to rumors, Spider-Man will face off against Sadie Sink’s Jean Grey.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day releases on July 31, 2026.
