Lucknow, Read: The proposal to transfer land for the construction of a sports complex in Ayodhya has been approved in the cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. This sports complex will be built under the Mukhyamantri Global Nagrodaya Yojana.
Finance Minister Suresh Khanna said that seven gata numbers (1026, 1027, 1029, 1030, 1031, 1033 min and 1035) of Nazul land located in Chak No. 4, Mohalla Vashishtha Kund, Pargana Haveli Awadh, Tehsil Sadar of Ayodhya, totaling about 2500 square meters area, will be handed over to Ayodhya Municipal Corporation. Will be transferred in favor of. This proposal was sent to the government by the District Magistrate Ayodhya on the request of the Municipal Commissioner. According to the decision of the Cabinet, this land will be allotted free of cost to Municipal Corporation Ayodhya subject to certain conditions and restrictions.
The objective of the government is to promote sports facilities by constructing a modern sports complex on this land and provide better sports infrastructure to the local youth. It has also been clarified that this land transfer is being done as an exception and will not be considered as a precedent in future.
