Pune News: The Directorate of Sports and Youth Services has taken a revolutionary step to provide meritorious athletes with the benefit of 5 percent reservation in government and semi-government services. ‘Kreeda e-Praman’, an updated system based on blockchain technology, has been launched to make verification of players’ certificates more transparent and faster. Thanks to this technology, it will be possible to prevent tampering of certificates and the players will be able to avail reservation without any hassle.
Through this system players will get a certificate with digital verification. The QR code on it will enable the concerned appointing authority to check the authenticity of the certificate instantly. It is mandatory for athletes to attach ‘Sports e-Certificate’ while applying for Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) as well as all other government posts.

Athletes should visit this website and obtain the ‘Sports e-Certificate’, similarly if a player’s information is not available in the system, a complaint can be lodged by sending the tournament name, year and scanned copy of the certificate to support@kridaepramaan.org. After that the records will be updated on the portal after verification at departmental level.
At present records of Kabaddi, Fencing, Triathlon (2025), Judo (2024) and Kurash (2024-25 and 2017-18) are available online and the respective athletes should apply for the certificate. The archive of other games is also being uploaded in a phased manner.
The Directorate of Sports and Youth Services has urged that the sportspersons whose certificates have been verified earlier by the Divisional Deputy Director, Sports and Youth Services must also prepare a digital certificate through this system for further recruitment process.
