Seizure of crores of rupees in case of fake medicines in Agra and busting of fake billing network
Uttar Pradesh. In Agra, the drug syndicate opened many firms in the name of their relatives to sell fake medicines and also made bills in the name of these firms. Apart from this, bills were diverted in the name of three to four firms and after that fake medicines worth crores were sold in the market. After this, raids were conducted on all these fake firms. After the detection of fake medicines in these raids, the people associated with this syndicate have not yet come under the ambit of investigation. The pharmaceutical department caught the game of manipulation after examining the bills for eight months.

Let us tell you that the pharmaceutical department team had investigated Manoj Gupta’s firm on November 7 last year on suspicion of counterfeiting of medicines used for injuries, pain and swelling. From here a huge quantity of medicine was sold to Pal Brothers of Kolkata. During investigation, Manoj Gupta’s firm ‘Anshika Pharma’ showed bills of purchasing medicines from Vibhor Medical Agency. When Vibhor Medical Agency was investigated, it showed bills of purchasing medicines from Gupta Medical Agency, Gorakhpur and Harshit Traders, Agra. But the surprising thing is that all these bills were fake. Meanwhile, samples of Chymoral Forte sent for testing from Vardaan Medical Agency were found to be of low quality. Apart from this, Aciloc tablet was also found to be fake. When inquired about this, Vardaan Medical Agency claimed to have purchased these medicines from Vibhor Medical Agency. At the same time, Torrent Pharmaceuticals Company, which manufactures Chymoral Forte medicine, said that it will not supply these medicines in the market.
According to Assistant Drugs Commissioner ‘Atul Upadhyay’, during the investigation, Vardaan Medical Agency, Vibhor Medical Agency, Harshit Traders, VA Enterprises, Yug Pharma, Rudra Enterprises, Sharda Pharma and RMD Pharma purchased 10 boxes of Chymoral Forte and diabetes drug Telma H from the pharma company, and one thousand boxes of fake medicines of the same batch were prepared. Let us tell you that bills for twenty coaches each from these five firms were issued in the name of the firms of their relatives. After this, along with selling these medicines at wholesale drug and medical stores, medicines were also sold in Kolkata, Delhi, Haryana, Indore.
Three thousand licenses for bulk medicines
Investigation revealed that there were three thousand licenses for bulk medicines. The pharmaceutical department team has sought details of these bulk medicines along with an affidavit. Besides, the pharmaceutical department team is also collecting details from its level so that legal action can be taken against them. Complaints have also been received about the collusion of drug association officials and drug inspectors behind all these frauds. These are also being investigated. Fake medicine traders have assets worth crores, houses in posh colonies including Kamla Nagar. These people have also invested in real estate. Let us tell you that after the raid in the fountain drug market, 40 percent of the shops are currently closed. There is panic in the pharmaceutical market also. In the raid on July 10, Mohan Traders, Kambutola, Money Medical, Mubarak Mahal were sealed. Now the team will open these shops and investigate because a big network can be exposed in this also.
